Tulare County schools continue the upward trend on student performance in a number of important areas according to statistics from the California Department of Education.
And... its not just the data that shows student performance. Southern California Edison selects 30 students from throughout Southern California to help pay for college studies in STEM fields. In addition to a $40,000 scholarship, the program also provides mentoring and internship opportunities for these graduates.
5 of the 30 Edison Scholars for 2015 were from Tulare County High Schools. More students in Tulare County received the prestigious award than in Kern (0),Orange (2), Riverside (2), San Bernardino (3) and Ventura (1) counties.
