Education
Dinuba has six elementary schools, one middle school and two high schools. There are also two private schools. Two community colleges nearby offer higher education courses and Fresno State University is only 45 minutes away. The Regional Vocational Training Center, which will open in January 2004, offers nursing (LVN) and other medical technology, computer courses, industrial technology as well as customized training set up for local industries and job placement. Reedley College will be the primary tenant of the center.

Dinuba is uniquely blessed with abundant agriculture, the magnificent Sierra Nevada Mountains, and an ideal location to reach all of California. Within about a 90-minute drive, nearby parks and lakes include: Sequoia National Park, Kings River, Kings Canyon National Park and Pine Flat Lake. The Pacific Coastline is only about a two-hour drive away.

Dinuba services the community with an extensive senior citizens program and a parks and recreation program. These organizations sponsor numerous events annually throughout the area for people of all ages. Dinuba's Raisin Day Parade, the last Saturday of September is one of the San Joaquin Valley's most colorful. Dinuba's Downtown Annual Car Show attracts all kinds of vehicles from antiques to racing cars.
